CREATING DISTRIBUTION LISTS IN OUTLOOK 2000


STEP I:

First, select "New >> Distribution List" either from the "File" menu or by pressing "Ctrl + Shift + L"


STEP II:

After opening the "Distribution List" window, type the name that you'd like to give the distribution list into the "Name:" field under the "Members" tab, then click "Select Members" to add contacts from your address book to your distribution list.


STEP III:

Here, you'll want to select which address book that you'd like to add contacts to your distribution list from. (In this image, "Contacts" has been selected.)


STEP IV:

After choosing the address book that you'd like to use, select a name from the list of contacts and click the "Add" button. When you are finished adding all of the members you would like, click "OK."


STEP V:

If you would like to add a description of the distribution list, or any other notes, you can do that in the field provided under the "Notes" tab. When you are done with everything, click "Save and Close" to save your new distribution list.
